Or More

Or more ridiculous is the idea that Jefferson Dean Pitcher will, indeed, actually and triumphantly, sit on that hill above the bull ring in Tijuana--maniac that he is. 45 some odd miles north of San Diego after riding for 17 hours. My ass is sore just at the thought. Jeff Pitcher: you are the man.

I couldn't have said it better myself, Ron. Amazing!

Jefferson's messages are sometimes so long--and my time so limited--that I've been remiss in typing out some of longer stories. Those of missed turns and wrong ways. Those of tires essentially disintegrating. Bikes walked (not ridden) for 10 miles in search of bike shops. Oppresive heat. Crashing into parked cars to avoid being run down by 18 wheelers.

Waiting for his call to say, which I assume will relate news of the bullfights in Tijuana. Ah Jefferson, my friend.

Jeff man you never fail to amaze me and to make me laugh. I'm very relieved that this second attempt seems to be working out for you so far. Remember: it's ok if you find that you are not superman. we will all still love you.
