What do you record on? I have two digital eight-tracks (VS880s), and I still run out of tracks... In truth, if I were better at bouncing stuff around from track to track, I could find the room. So I feel your pain, Pitcher. Whenever I've tackled recording projects, I've found myself getting so frustrated with the technical aspects that I lose sight of what inspired me to record in the first place! But you must keep on. It'll be worth it, right?

It will be a beautiful weekend. I would MUCH prefer to take one of my occasional solo drives through windy HWY 17 to Santa Cruz/Capitola and watch the surfers catch waves, et moi, practice tai-chi or karate on the cliff overlooking the ocean at sunrise. But instead, I must take the time this weekend at the house I used to own but recently sold, and obliterate photos/art pieces/etc. of my old life, otherwise one can easily fall into a maddening state of demise, or at least (for me) obstruct the forward-looking path towards life anew. Others hold onto memoirs. I do not...
...which reminds of Isabel Allende's comments...I can relate to her on so may levels...how when growing up, I knew right away I was different, and always had a difficult time associating with other children. It made me feel very alone. I thought I was crazy to contemplate so much, but I can't help questioning everything. So many people in our world never bother to think about what they do, nor why they do what they do, and it saddens me. They are mindless, and just follow the popular beliefs of the masses. I am utterly relieved to discover that this is not so with the people who actually have and voice their opinions on this on-line forum.
Happy Mother's Day Weekend to everyone.

I think ol' Stewart parker meant to say pitcher instead of bicycle.
