the winter and the summer.

how can it nearly be july? i suppose i have been busy. it seems as though i'm losing some grip on my understanding (or lack thereof) about the movement of time. and yet summer pushes on. yesterday spent in a recording studio in sacramento with old friends, laying down the concrete for a new record. a bike ride with newer (but still old) friends down the coast the previous week. and another move, this time east again. new york. my wife and i leave in 17 days. is it possible for me to ask the ticking beast to slow down? could you just slow down A BIT?.....my life is passing by too quickly.
