sleepier.

it seems quiet this morning compared to the last few weeks. while i'm not entirely sure why this is, i imagine it has something to do with the colder temperatures. it has always seemed to me that the world grows a touch more quiet in the winter. there are obvious reasons for this of course, but other more subtle explanations as well. needless to say, the first hints of the end of summer are here in upstate new york, and while the winter instills some dark feelings in me, i welcome the change and the onset of fall. somehow, it just makes more sense to sit inside recording all day. drinking tea and watching the world with sleepier eyes. sleepier. i like that.
